UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state-level entrance test conducted for those candidates who wishes to join as teachers for primary level (class 1 to 5) and upper primary level (class 6 to 8) classes in various Government schools across Uttar Pradesh. This entrance exam is conducted by UPBEB (Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board) every year.
